First Robotics Club launch in a rural community

This past Friday, what is believed to be the first rural-based #RoboticsClub, between Empangeni and eShowe, was launched by a non-profit organisation, I Learn to Live - Ngifundela Ukuphila, in partnership with #AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy.

Key guests included parents of the club’s first students, principals of local primary schools, and the Rotary Club of Empangeni, who raised funds to build the computer centre, in 2014.

Guests were welcomed by programme manager, Ngcebo Mdletshe, and AlgoAtWork's Langa Zulu.
Mampshika Tshega, ran a short #robotics demonstration with the children, giving guests, and specifically parents, an opportunity to see exactly what their children will learn during club sessions.
