JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA, June 16, 2023 — AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Livingstone Mphahlele as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. This appointment underscores our commitment to fostering innovation and youth development in the robotics and AI sector.
Mr. Mphahlele brings a wealth of experience in project management, business development, and socioeconomic development consulting. Known for his innovative mindset and commitment to community empowerment, his work spans various sectors, including renewable energy, management consulting, education, training, and NGOs.
In his previous role as a Special Project and Partnerships Lead, Mr. Mphahlele demonstrated exceptional strategic planning and leadership skills. He was instrumental in the initiation of new programmes, securing partnerships, fundraising, and stakeholder management.
The co-founders of AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy, Langa Zulu and Tshega Mampshika, who will serve as Chief Creative Officer and Chief Technology Officer respectively, are excited to work closely with Mr. Mphahlele. Mr. Mphahlele will be supported by a robust advisory board, whose members will be announced in due course. He will report directly to this board, working collaboratively to advance the academy's vision and strategic objectives.
